CinchSeal Rotary Shaft Seals replace gland packings, lip seals used in machinery such as mixers, dryers, blenders, screw conveyors, rotary air valves, etc. to effectively prevent product leakage. The design of the internal seal assembly that is attached to the shaft and rotates with the shaft prevents product leakage and at the same time prevents foreign matter from entering the product. The internal seal assembly that rotates with the shaft can also be rotated to adjust the degree of rotation to support the maximum shaft run out of ¼” or 6.35 mm. It helps to protect the gear box and bearings from damage. Also, the shaft does not wear out as often happens with seals that are stationary and the rotating shaft is constantly rubbing against the seal contact surface, such as gland packings and lip seals.
